The KayserBed Hannah is built in an extremely stable manner, being specially designed for children with restless to very noticeable motor nerves. With these children it is not always primarily a question of implementing nursing and therapeutic measures in the bed, but rather of creating a safe environment for them, so as e.g. to exclude the possibility of them causing danger to themselves.

Above all it is suitable for children who, on account of mental deficiency, in part display a considerably retarded development. Their motor function is often determined by restlessness and insufficient goal-directedness. To protect them against physical harm, for example as a result of leaving the bed in an uncontrolled way, it is necessary to have these special beds with high lattice frames.

Hannah also serves to encourage and facilitate proper motion. It is suitable for children who, in spite of illness and disability, possess sufficient motor competence to effect the transfer into and out of bed independently.

Thanks to its child-oriented atmosphere a KayserBed Hannah is both a place for sleeping and at the same time a play area. The coloured finish and the transparent windows activate the child's visual cognition and animate its fantasy.

The KayserBed Hannah is available in the lattice heights 70, 98, 135 and 170 cm. The long side of the standard bed is always fitted with 4 door elements. Modified custom-made items are possible in respect of size and construction.

Equipment can be completely individual, either with vertically adjustable insertion frames driven by an electric motor or with a rigid slatted frame, and in both cases with a solid wood floor. An external door locking system prevents the doors being pushed open by force. Where required, mattresses can be supplied with firmly sewn leatherette covers.

The height adjustability from 55 to 95 cm always permits the safe and comfortable transfer of the child from the wheelchair or seat directly into the bed. The ergonomic nursing height makes caring for the child easier in all respects.

Given the bed's load capacity of 150 kg, it is possible for a grown-up to join the child in the bed.
